How does your platform work?
At Pick The Broom, we have created a network of trusted, professional cleaners whom we link with people who need house cleaning services. All you need to do is book online and we will send a professional cleaner to your home. If you want to request for special tasks, simply add comments in the space provided for notes on the booking form.
Can I trust my Cleaning professional?
All our Cleaning professionals go through a background and security check through a third party. The security check includes clearance for criminal record. We do not register any Cleaner on our platform if they have any criminal record. We do encourage you to take care of your belongings as anyone would if a stranger is coming to their home.
Are Cleaning professionals employed by Pick The Broom?
Cleaning professionals are independent contractors whom we have vetted and trained to provide the Pick The Broom platform standard of service. They are not employees of Pick The Broom. We just provide them with a platform to access people who need their homes cleaned.
Will I get the same Cleaning professional every time?
Your happiness is our priority. We try to provide you with the same Cleaning professional every time if that is your preference, but we cannot guarantee it for once-off cleanings. For recurring cleanings, we guarantee that you will have the same Cleaner always unless something beyond our control prevents this.
What time will my Cleaning professional arrive?
Our Cleaning professionals make every effort to be on time always but do bear with them as traffic congestion may affect their arrival times.
How does your satisfaction guarantee work?
We guarantee our service. If you are not happy we will re-clean for free or make it right in the best way possible. Free re-cleans can only be done within 24 hours of the first clean.
How much does it cost?
Our pricing depends on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The standard price for each size includes one bathroom. If your home has more than one bathroom, select the extra bathrooms on the extras page. Also check our pricing page for discounts and specials.
Will my Cleaning professional bring their own cleaning supplies, products, and equipment?
If you need your Cleaning professional to bring cleaning supplies, this will be provided at a cost. Just select Cleaning supplies on the Extras page.
Do you do move in/move out cleaning?
Sure thing. Use our quote form to book move in and move out cleaning.
Do you provide post construction cleaning?
Yes, we do. Use our quote form to book post construction cleaning.
How do hourly bookings work?
Hourly bookings are all about flexibility. Use these if you need someone to do certain extras only. For example, if you have loads of laundry and you just want someone to come and do the laundry without necessarily cleaning the whole house. Or maybe you just want someone to clean your walls, wash and iron your curtains.
How many cleaners should I expect?
We only send one Cleaner for small to medium homes. If your home is 5+ bedrooms, we will send two cleaners.
How do I apply a coupon or gift card to my appointment?
Simply enter the code you received when asked. The discount will be instantly applied to your booking.
How do I pay?
Currently, we only accept payment via credit or debit card. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards for payment. Credit card transactions are processed by Paypal and is layered on their security protocol. In addition, we do not store credit card numbers in our system. Rest assured, your security is a priority to us.
How does your referral program work?
It’s easy! Just send your referral code to as many people as you’d like. Whenever someone books using your code, they get 10% off their cleaning, and you get 10% in cleaning credit.
How can I cancel or adjust my appointment?
To cancel or adjust a booking, you can either do so through your user profile, or by contacting us at wecare@pickthebroom.com or Please cancel your booking before 19:00 the day before your booking. Otherwise, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
